Forced Perspective

research: this picture kind of gives me an idea of what I wanted for my personal picture. But what I will do instead of using the foot is that I will use a hand to try and make a picture that looks like someone is getting squished by a giant hand.

research: This picture also helps me think of a picture just like the other picture. I liked this picture but I don’t want to use this exact same picture so I thought of the hand over instead of under.

Describe the process, or workflow, you went through to create this image? I originally had another photo but it got deleted as so that pushed me back a few days. Then once I took the picture and came back to class to import it I realized that the picture wasn’t as good as I wanted but because I was behind I had too try and fix it as much as I could by editing the picture.


What specific photos you found online  inspired you to make this sequence? The pictures that inspired me I put them on the top of the blog and I talked about why they inspired them.


How did the sketch of your Forced Perspective image differ from the final version? I already knew what I wanted to do as soon as I started so my picture really didn’t change that much if at all.


How well does the effect of Forced Perspective come across in your final image? The effect of forced perspective I think came across some what. But I know that my picture could better for sure.


Do you think your image tells a good story? I really did take this picture to tell a story I just took it quick so that I could try and catch up with the other work we have to do.
What would you do differently if you could do it all again? I would finish this much sooner so that i’m not behind and so that I can have more time to take a picture that I want instead of rushing to just get a picture to turn in.
What are you most proud of ? I am most proud of how I was still able to turn in and finish this picture even tho that I knew that It was going to be late.

Research

Research different storytelling sequences by Duane Michals. Which one most represents a story you could tell? There really isn’t a story that I think that Duane michals has that most represents.

Which type of storytelling is ideal for what you want to say. What do you want to say? I would say maybe narrative but i’m not exactly sure about the types of storytelling there is I can’t seem to remember them.

  • Describe the process, or workflow, you went through to create this image? When I first started thinking of ideas I knew that I wanted to do something with a basketball. As I drew my draft ideas popped into my head and then I just drew what I liked.
  • What specific photo series inspired you to make this sequence? There wasn’t a specific photo that inspired me it was just thinking of something that happens in basketball. which is making a jump shot.
  • How did the sketch of your Storytelling image differ from the final version? It was pretty much the same it didn’t really change at all.
  • How well is the viewer able to move through each of these images? I say that my series of picture are not complicated so the average person would be able to understand this.
  • Do you think your image tells a good story? It’s not really telling much of a story to be honest. the story for my pictures could be shoot your shoot.
  • What would you do differently if you could do it all again? I would finish this a lot sooner and I would try and add a little bit more to it to make it more into a story.
  • What are you most proud of ? I am proud of my work the pictures were kind of hard to take. It also took while to finish the work.

 

Self Portrait

  1. I believe that artist convert emotion into visuals by what they end up on there final picture. the picture that they make can help explain what they are currently feeling at the moment.
  • what do you think the meaning of the story is? I believe that the meaning of this story is that they boy misses the old man that passed away.
  • What is happening in this image. The old man passed away and the boy misses him.
  • Which example would you use for yours? A circular narrative, a linear narrative? Or a non-linear narrative? I am not sure at the moment.
  • What are you planning on having in your image? I have no clue.

  • How did the sketch of your Self Portrait image differ from the final version? The lighting in my final picture was a lot different from the sketch. But for the most part I already knew what I was wanting to do
  • How well were you able to communicate something invisible about yourself in this image? What was that thing, and how well did it come across? I would say the one thing that I wanted to show was that I am a basketball player by including the ball in my picture.
  • How well does your self portrait define you? I’m not sure
  • How did the sketch help you make the final image? It gave me an idea as to what I wanted to do.
  • What would you do differently if you could do it all again? I’m not sure.
  • What are you most proud of ? I am the most proud of the final picture.

Photo Challenge #2 – Famous Quote

  • How did the sketch of your famous quote image differ from the final version It was pretty much the same I had an idea of what i wanted to do.
  • How well did the font of the text and the effects you created connect to the mood of the photograph?
  • I think that the quote kind of helps you to understand the picture more
  • How well is the quote reflected in the image?
  • I am holding a basketball which for me is expressing joy and the dark is kind of in a way shows pain.
  • How did the sketch help you make the final image? The sketch helped me with giving me an idea for what to do.
  • What would you do differently if you could do it all again?
  • I think that I would use my time more wisely.
  • What are you most proud of ? That I was able to finish the picture.

I didn’t really have an idea of what i wanted to do so i kinda of thought of things along the way.

I learned there names and have more background knowledge of who they are.

the subject said that he liked the card.

It kind of gave me an idea of what i wanted to do.

I think i would maybe instead of having my picture only fill part of the card i would have it fill more of the card if that makes sense.

That i was able to complete this on time.
